The 2009 Amgen Tour of California drew the largest audience of live spectators in California professional sports history. Americans are beginning to learn — and embrace — that professional cycling gives fans an incomparably good view of the action, free of charge. Photography Larry Rosa captures the culture of bike racing fans in California in this feature gallery.

Hi there, u doing? I very recently got myself a motorbike and I urgently need some assistance with a query i have been experiencing since i bought it. I am the type of person that can get very cold quite easily and i cant seem to stay warm enough on my Motorcycle! How I can i fix this?
So stoked to have Floyd back! I think Floyd got the short end of the stick and I can’t tell you how exciting his last tour was for all of us core cycling fans. I’ve known Floyd since his days with TWP racing mountain bikes. I spent a great deal of time with him racing Nationals and N. American World Cups as well as some great fun racing the Outrigger in Hawaii…Floyd’s the real deal and an amazing athlete and just a stand up guy. Best of luck on your 2009 season!!
I too an a super Floyd fan. He is a real cycling hero and I for one am glad he is back in the peloton. GO MAN GO!!!!
I know that Larry Rosa gave you very nice coverage of the Tour of Cali, but I have some rather unique images that you may like to see. Let me know if you’d like me to forward them along.
best,
Maria
